Role: Learning Support Assistant Location: Braintree Pay Rate: £90 – £130 per day Start Date: September 2025 Empower Learners as a Learning Support Assistant – Braintree GSL Education is seeking reliable Learning Support Assistants to join our partner schools in Braintree. This role involves supporting students with additional learning or behavioural needs in and out of the classroom. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Support student learning and engagement throughout the school day • Work alongside teachers to implement lesson plans • Provide tailored support based on individual needs • Monitor and record student progress • Help maintain a safe and welcoming classroom environment We’re Looking For: • Experience in an education or SEN setting preferred • Patient, reliable, and enthusiastic about learning support • Able to build strong student relationships • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education) Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
