We are recruiting for Health Records Clerks to be based in our Health Records Clerk Department in Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest.
We have one full time contract (37.5 hours per week) available.
For this role, previous experience in a record-keeping role is not required, as on the job training will be provided. You will predominantly begin your training in our Filing Library and then be exposed to other duties within the department.
Main duties of the job
* Filing and retrieving patient records, locating and providing patient records for all outpatient appointments, planned admissions and day case attendances.
* Preparation of patient records for outpatient/inpatient attendances.
* Operation of a computerised patients administration system, including inputting and retrieval of data.
* Dealing with telephone queries.
* Scanning of patient records to support the Health Records Digitisation project.
Qualifications & Knowledge
* Good standard of education to include Maths and English GCSE or demonstrable literacy & numeracy skills.
* Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
* Knowledge of general administrative / office duties, including filing systems.

* Organised approach to work and able to meet deadlines.
* Enthusiastic and motivated.
* Able to work as part of a team.
Experience & Other
* Flexible to the needs of the service.
* Welsh Speaker (Level 1).
Welsh language

£26,300 a year per annum (pro rata if part time).
