The role is primarily remote and would suit someone who enjoys bringing structure to busy professional schedules, follows instructions well, and takes initiative within a business context. This is a supportive, long-term role for the right person, offering flexibility, clarity, and mutual respect. Key Responsibilities Managing professional diaries, appointments, and schedules Monitoring and managing business emails and correspondence as instructed Scheduling meetings and coordinating professional arrangements Preparing documents, letters, and reports Following up on business actions, deadlines, and reminders Providing general administrative and secretarial support related to business operations Personality & Qualities (Very Important) We are particularly keen to work with someone who is: Proactive and able to identify what needs doing Comfortable taking instructions and implementing them accurately Highly organised with strong attention to detail Trustworthy and discreet, particularly with confidential and sensitive information Calm, reliable, and professional, without being overly rigid A clear communicator who asks questions when unsure Skills & Experience Previous PA, secretary, administrative, or virtual assistant experience is desirable but not essential Confident using email, calendars, and standard office productivity tools Able to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting Trial Period The role will begin with a paid trial/probationary period of 4–8 weeks, allowing both parties to assess working style, communication, and overall suitability. There is potential for a longer-term arrangement following successful completion.
