Integrated Service Solutions (ISS) is a leading service provider within the UK Fresh Produce sector. We’re now looking for an organised and detail‑focused Sales Ledger Assistant (Accounts Assistant) to join our Finance team and support the accurate management of the sales ledger.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in accounts receivable or someone looking to continue developing their career within finance, working closely with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and wider finance team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing a set of sales ledger accounts, including pricing and invoicing
* Supporting pricing activities and the pricing of jobs within the sales ledger
* Assisting with manual and recharge invoicing
* Providing documentation and backup information to support customer queries
* Responding to customer queries promptly and escalating issues where required
* Monitoring and managing the Accounts Receivable mailbox
* Communicating any risks or concerns clearly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor
* Providing cover and support for other members of the accounts team when required
* Ensuring accuracy, consistency and reliability across all accounts records
What We’re Looking For
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in an accounts role or a clear desire to build a career in finance
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
* Organised and methodical approach to work
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
* Knowledge of Prophet ERP is desirable but not essential
* Flexible, professional and team‑focused attitude
