Little Legends Nursery is an independent family run nursery, located in South Reddish near Stockport.
The 42 place nursery has four playrooms and garden areas, tailored to meet the development needs of children at different ages.
We are looking to recruit a professional, friendly and motivated Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team.
We are ideally looking for a full time member of staff, however we could consider a part-time in a job share arrangement.
The ideal applicant will be warm and caring, motivated, enthusiastic and keen to make a positive impact in lives of young children and their families.
You will need to hold a Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years and will need to have a thorough understanding of the EYFS and experience of carrying out the key person role.
The role will include planning play spaces and experiences, record keeping, safeguarding children and working with parents; to support the needs of children within the key group.
Additionally, the role will including supporting in all rooms across the nursery with many opportunities to work directly with all age groups of children and ensuring that all daily tasks are completed.
The ideal candidate must be willing and open to engage in continuous professional development as Little Legends Nursery is committed to further staff training and continuous professional development.
Little Legends Nursery works with all members of staff providing regular reviews, support and training opportunity's.
Exact rates of pay are dependent on qualifications and experience.
Person Specification
* A recognised Early Years/ Childcare Qualification to Level 3 or above.
* A current pediatric first aid certificate
* Experience in a similar role or in an environment working closely with children.
* A detailed understanding of the EYFS
* Team Player.
* Health & Safety awareness.
* Self-Motivated.
* Able to work under own initiative.
* Experience in safeguarding children.
* Experience in supporting children and families with additional needs.
* Current food hygiene certificate
