Job Title: Head of Operations & Growth (D2C & B2B) ?? Midlands / Hybrid ?? £80,000 £110,000 performance bonus (DOE) Our client are fast-growing luxury retail brand, operating across the UK, Europe, and Australia, with plans to launch in the United States in 2026. Business has been built through strong direct-to-consumer (D2C) performance, supported by global sourcing, efficient logistics, and a premium customer experience. They are now entering the next phase of growth, including expansion into wholesale (B2B), international scaling, and operational optimisation. The Role We are seeking a commercially driven Head of Commercial Operations & Growth to lead the next stage of expansion. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining operations, sales, and marketing oversight. You will work closely with the founders to scale the business internationally, improve margins, and build a high-performing, structured organisation. You will take ownership of day-to-day operations while driving revenue growth across both D2C and B2B channels. Key Responsibilities 1. Commercial Growth (D2C & B2B) Own and optimise D2C performance across website, paid media, SEO, and conversion Develop and execute a B2B/wholesale strategy (showrooms, trade accounts, partnerships) Identify new revenue opportunities and expansion channels Support pricing strategy, promotions, and margin optimisation 2. Operations & Supply Chain Oversee end-to-end operations including: International sourcing and container shipments Warehousing across multiple regions (UK, EU, AUS) Delivery partners and white-glove logistics Improve operational efficiency, cost control, and scalability Implement systems for forecasting, stock planning, and demand management 3. Team Leadership & Structure Build and manage teams across: Marketing Customer service Sales / trade accounts Manage external agencies and partners Introduce KPIs, reporting structures, and performance management 4. International Expansion Support launch and scaling of new markets, particularly the US Establish operational frameworks for multi-region growth Adapt logistics, pricing, and marketing strategies by region 5. Strategy & Execution Work closely with founders on business strategy and growth planning Translate strategy into clear, executable plans Drive accountability and delivery across the business About You Essential Experience Proven experience in D2C eCommerce growth (ideally scaling £1m revenue businesses) Strong understanding of B2B / wholesale / trade sales channels Experience managing operations, logistics, or supply chain Commercial mindset with a track record of driving revenue and improving margins Experience working in a fast-paced, founder-led environment Desirable Experience Background in furniture, home, or bulky goods sectors Experience with international expansion (EU/US/AUS markets) Knowledge of container importing, 3PLs, and fulfilment networks Personal Attributes Hands-on and execution-focused Commercially driven with strong problem-solving ability Highly organised with attention to detail Strong leadership and communication skills Comfortable operating in a scaling, evolving business What We Offer Opportunity to play a key role in scaling an international brand Direct access to founders and influence over business strategy Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Competitive salary with performance-based incentives Potential for progression into a COO-level role
