Job Description
Job Purpose
To provide expert support to partners and directors, supervising restructuring and recovery processes from planning to review and completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of insolvency cases, ensuring efficient progression.
* Participate in business reviews, advisory work, option reviews, and accelerated sales processes.
* Coordinate with appointees and staff to keep all updated on relevant issues.
* Brief and motivate staff to complete cases efficiently.
* Review and supervise staff work, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to staff development through on-the-job experience.
* Ensure all work is reviewed and files are audit-ready.
* Identify opportunities for additional services.
* Assist in meeting stakeholder needs and expanding service offerings.
* Exceed service level expectations where possible.
* Attend marketing events and develop a network of potential clients.
* Review statutory documents for compliance with insolvency regulations.
* Prepare case reviews and brief partners on work and business issues.
* Manage work-in-progress and debtors per client.
* Promote a positive team environment and embrace change.
Key Skills and Experience
* Extensive experience in corporate insolvency (administration/liquidation) and advisory assignments.
* Knowledge of insolvency legislation and statutory requirements.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures.
* Strong organizational skills to handle multiple assignments.
Professional Qualifications and Education
* Qualified accountant and/or JIEB qualification.
