The opportunity
To lead and evolve EY’s supplier and sourcing strategy for Managed Learning Services, developing a high-performing supply chain that supports strategic client outcomes, delivers innovation, and reduces operational costs through commercial excellence and AI-driven procurement solutions.
Your key responsibilities
1. Lead the development and implementation of the MLS sourcing strategy across a portfolio of over 250 suppliers.
2. Establish and manage strategic partnerships with critical suppliers, driving joint value creation.
3. Introduce and embed AI and automation into sourcing workflows to increase efficiency and improve decision-making.
4. Manage and mentor a team of sourcing and supplier management professionals.
5. Act as a senior point of contact for clients and ensure supplier delivery meets contractual and service expectations.
6. Work with ServiceNow and other internal systems to optimise data, MI, and supplier performance reporting.
7. Collaborate with risk, legal, and commercial teams to ensure robust supplier contracts and risk mitigation.
8. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.
9. Support growth through sourcing solutions for new client opportunities and bids.
10. Responsible for managing strategic and critical supplier relationships to drive high performance and develop mutually beneficial goals.
Skills and attributes for success
11. Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management in a large, complex and regulated environment.
12. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and contract management skills.
13. Experience managing supplier and client relationships at senior levels.
14. Solid understanding of operational and third-party risk frameworks.
15. Familiarity with emerging technologies including AI and their application in procurement and supply chain.
16. Strong team leadership and coaching skills.
17. Experience with digital platforms ( ServiceNow, Coupa, SAP Ariba) desirable.
18. Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed consulting or services environment.
To qualify for the role;
19. Degree-qualified or equivalent experience.
20. MCIPS (desirable but not essential).
21. Project or programme management qualifications ( PRINCE2) are a bonus.
