At Centra Training, we’re on a mission to improve access to vocational education, enhancing opportunities for those working in the care sector.
We’re looking for a Sector Specialist Tutor to deliver vocational qualifications from level 2 - 5 in care organisations. This is a home-based role with flexibility, strong job satisfaction, and willingness to travel within the geographical area linked to your location. (1 to 1, group, face-to-face and remote teaching and assessing)
What You’ll Do
* Deliver engaging training, supporting learners on their journey.
* Engage with employers and review progress
* Build strong, positive relationships with both learners and employers.
* Manage a caseload of learners and ensure timely completion of qualifications.
* Keep accurate learner records using our e-portfolio system.
* Maintain compliance with quality and audit standards.
* Spot opportunities for new training and business development.
* Continue developing your own skills and contribute to quality improvements.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
* GCSEs (A–C) in Maths, English & ICT (or equivalent).
* TAQA or other Assessing, Teaching Qualifications.
* Proven background in the care sector, qualified to level 5 or above.
* Strong tutoring, coaching, or teaching experience (1 year+ preferred).

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, resilient, and able to inspire learners.
* Committed to quality, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Other Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
* Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
