Job Description
Medibeam are recruiting a Quality Engineer for a Medical Manufacturing organisation in Rhyl.
But this role is not one that is sat behind a desk working on the QMS.
This is a boots on the shop floor kind of job.

In a typical week, you will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, the QHSE Manager and other Engineers, walking the floor and spotting risks before they become complaints.
They need someone who lives and breathes manufacturing quality.
You will:
* Be the key contact for customer and external body complaints and assisting / directing QA & manufacturing staff in their investigations.
* Liaise with suppliers on ongoing performance and resolution of supplier quality issues.
* Work as part of the team producing FMEAs, risk management plans and risk management reports.
* Liaise with suppliers on PPAP requirements and new product introduction.
* Support continuous improvement teams in the creation of new product production lines and the improvement of existing product production lines.
You need to have exposure with root cause analysis, using 8D or 5 Whys, with a no faults forward kind of thinking.
Given the nature of the product portfolio, we also need you to have experience working in mechanical assembly and knowing when to fix a problem and knowing when to escalate.
A few other requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years plant based manufacturing experience required.
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 (preferably ISO13485, IATF 16949 or AS9100)
* Internal auditing qualified (minimum ISO 9001)
