The Guest Services team handles the check-in of around 4,000–4,500 guests per break and is the key point of contact for guest queries, concerns and issues at any time of day or year. Each Guest Services team is integral to delivering an experience that will exceed guests’ expectations, from the moment they drive into Center Parcs, until the moment they leave.
Role and responsibilities
GUEST SERVICES SHIFT MANAGER | £15.83 per hour
* Provide excellent guest care to approximately 4,500 guests per break.
* Report to the Guest Services Manager and oversee the day-to-day running of the Guest Services team to ensure consistent, professional service.
* Ensure the smooth running and control of Guest Services, including the Arrivals process on a daily/shift basis.
* Be the first point of contact for guest issues and resolve them with a nip it in the bud approach.
* Coach, train and monitor the team to maintain high levels of guest care and ensure compliance with company policy and procedures.
Hours of work
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Your days and hours may vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. The village is open 365 days a year, so working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and New Year on a rota basis.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be sociably confident with the ability to inspire confidence and establish credibility.
Essential requirements:
* Ability to deal with escalated guest complaints
* Excellent customer service skills
* Excellent organisation, communication, and negotiation skills
* A good level of computer literacy
* Friendly, genuine, and warm towards guests and colleagues
* Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
Desirable requirements:
* Previous supervisory experience, preferably within the guest / customer services / hotel reception environment
* Previous experience working in a customer service role
