Qualifications
10+ years experience delivering complex technical programs working closely with software engineers and other partners across multiple teams the organisation. Strong technical background and formal program management qualifications preferable
Can you tell me about the day-to-day activities in the role?
A lot of alignment and negotiation with the team (engineering managers), identifying risks, making sure everything aligns
Privacy discussions to make sure all their products are aligned to their privacy goals.
Working on 3 very complex projects – 2fa, account recovery and login time security
The roadmap is set up and now it’ about getting the teams to delivery.
But these are very complex projects both in terms of products and technically, so this is taking a lot of the engineer’s times in planning the next steps. Hence, they want someone who will help scope what is that they need to decide, the timeline, who they need to involve, set these meeting, gain alignment and create the workplans.
Things are constantly shifting too – decisions from partner teams that they will need to react too bot product and technically so the workplans may change every week so a lot of strong project manager and prioritization. is required.
Project management tools that the team uses – Spreadsheets, GST(internal tool) but the CW can use anything they are comfortable with.
Since they will be working with the engineers a lot hey need to have experience with software projects to under the technical capabilities.
nothing in specific in terms of technical knowledge some knowledge they just need to know broad technical terms know what the engineers are talking about so they can take relevant action.
