& Influencer Exec + Marketing Exec report into this role).
About the role
As Head of Marketing, you’ll take ownership of the full marketing lifecycle - from acquisition to
conversion and retention. You’ll develop and execute strategies that drive growth, enhance our
brand, and ensure we stand out in a competitive market. Collaborating closely with the leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future direction while leading an ambitious,
creative, and supportive marketing team.
While strategy is crucial, this role is also hands-on. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll
up their sleeves and work alongside the team to make things happen and deliver our ambitious
plan.

Marketing, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the brand, scaling performance across the full funnel, and leading market expansion into new regions - all while working alongside talented,
driven people who care about great design and meaningful impact.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategy, Planning & Performance
* Lead, communicate and deliver Hovia’s marketing strategy.
* Translate strategic priorities into initiatives, KPIs and plans with clear ownership.
* Collaborate with the leadership team on wider business strategy and represent marketing at senior level.
Team Leadership & Development
* Line manage and coach marketing team members.
* Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture with shared accountability.
Take ownership of end-to-end marketing execution with a focus on digital
performance, testing, and scalable growth.
* Build and optimise campaigns that drive visibility, traffic, and acquisition across key digital channels (SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Content).
* Use data to uncover opportunities, run experiments, and iterate toward performance improvements in CAC, ROAS, CVR and repurchase rate.
* Identify performance bottlenecks and work with the team to improve CRO, retargeting, landing pages, and email automations.
* Guide the team in creating and deploying brand content that performs - combining storytelling with sharp creative that converts. Collaborate with Brand
* Marketing Manager to help direct social, influencer partnerships, digital PR efforts to achieve results.
* Support retention and loyalty through data-led lifecycle marketing, email flows, and community engagement.
* Balance creativity with commercial thinking - constantly testing, learning, and scaling what works.
Execution, Optimisation & Reporting
* Own key parts of execution; especially in strategic planning, solving challenges, leading key initiatives.
* Build reports and monitor performance.
* Adopt a test & learn approach to scale growth and optimise channels. Continually identify opportunities for testing and improvement.
Cross-functional collaboration & external relationships:
* Work with the Design, Creative and Sales teams to grow the Hovia brand.
* Liaise with Group-level teams (e.g. Tech, CS, Finance, Head of Marketing at other brands in group) where needed.
* Manage external SEO agency.
What we’re looking for:
* 6+ years' experience in marketing, ideally with at least 2 years in a leadership role. A strong track record of driving growth in fast-paced environments.
* Strong digital marketing expertise with a proven ability to scale customer acquisition and drive measurable growth across performance channels.
* Clear understanding of how to balance brand and performance - able to direct high-quality creative content that drives engagement, conversion, and long-term brand value.
* Proven experience of owning a marketing strategy; delegating to team members and rolling up your sleeves to get hands on where needed.
* Strong understanding of performance marketing, content strategy, and customer lifecycle marketing.
* Commercial mindset with experience working to revenue targets and KPIs.
* Experience managing and developing teams across a mix of marketing disciplines.
* Highly organised with strong project and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical thinker who uses data to make decisions and improve performance.
* Data-led with an experimental approach to driving scalable growth.
* Creative eye for brand quality and customer experience.
* Strong communicator; you’re organised, articulate, and able to manage budgets, projects, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
