Overview
ŠKODA Parts Advisor Apprentice - Group 1 ŠKODA Southend, presented by The Apprenticeship Guide. This role offers an apprenticeship with vehicle parts stock control, customer service and progress toward related qualifications.
Salary and duration: £302 a week, Apprenticeship - Level 2. Location: Arterial Road, Leigh On Sea SS9 5NG. Closing date notice: 6 November 2025 (advert may close earlier if sufficient applications are received).
Responsibilities
* Provide advice to customers regarding vehicle issues.
* Take sales orders from customers in person and over the phone.
* Stock control for vehicle parts and accessories.
* Maintain an ordered stock room and raise invoices for parts sold.
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure correct stock is available at the right time.
Training and progression
Training will be delivered through a mix of virtual classroom remote learning and face-to-face block release weeks at a state-of-the-art training centre. You will be guided by expert trainers and supported by a personal mentor in the workplace. Upon successful completion of the one-year programme, you will receive:
* Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Standard
* Brand-specific certifications
In Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, there are additional framework options including Level 2 / Level 5 Customer Service Apprenticeship and brand certifications.
Entry requirements
Minimum entry criteria include GCSE grades 9–4 (A–C) in English, Maths and one other subject. Scotland: National 5 Grades A–C in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
