We are looking to recruit a Food and Design Technology Technician to join us from 1 September 2025 to support the Faculty. The role involves preparing equipment, materials, tools, and ingredients for practical lessons. The role will be responsible for clearing down and ensuring workspaces are tidy and ready for subsequent use. In addition, the successful candidate will support teaching staff during practical sessions, assist with demonstrations, and may lead small group interventions when required. The role also includes providing additional support to students, particularly those with SEND or identified as high risk, to help them engage effectively in practical learning. The ideal candidate will be organised, methodical and conscientious, with good communication skills, and able to use IT to fulfil duties such as ordering of stock and other administration duties where required.
