Position Overview

Area Sales Manager – External Field Sales position with work from home flexibility. The role focuses on high value projects and consultative solution selling process with B2B clients. You will receive a 3‑month induction period of intensive product and corporate sales training to enable selling of premium technology solutions to businesses spending around £100k per order. Successful performers may achieve OTE of £70k‑£100k and above.

Cambridgeshire – Technology, Product Sales, B2B, Field Sales, Projects, Tenders, Capital Equipment.


Responsibilities

* Build, manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts with high‑value orders.
* Present and sell premium technology solutions using a consultative sales approach.
* Achieve and exceed annual sales targets and OTE benchmarks.
* Collaborate with a field sales team to share best practices and support one another.
* Develop career progression into larger key accounts or management positions.


Qualifications

* Minimum 2–8 years of product B2B sales experience.
* Experience selling using a consultative solution sales approach.
* Outgoing, positive, natural rapport builder with strong client relationship skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a field sales environment.
* Valid driving licence.


Package & Benefits

* Basic salary £35,000–£40,000 per annum.
* Realistic OTE £60,000–£70,000 uncapped in years 1‑2.
* Top performers can earn over £70,000–£100,000 uncapped.
* Fast‑track management framework: Regional Field Sales Manager – Key Account Manager – National Key Account Manager (or Sales Manager).
