With a strong reputation for service excellence and commercial understanding, they are continuing to expand their operations and are seeking an ambitious Assistant Relationship Manager to join their growing team.
The Role;
As an Assistant Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in supporting a team of Relationship Managers in managing and developing a portfolio of ABL and Invoice Finance clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within commercial finance, gaining hands-on experience across portfolio management, client relationship support, and risk monitoring.
Key Responsibilities;
* Support Relationship Managers in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of ABL/Invoice Finance clients.
* Assist in the preparation of client reviews, credit papers, and ongoing facility monitoring.
* Liaise with clients, accountants, and internal teams to ensure smooth operation of facilities and quick resolution of queries.
* Monitor client performance, financial covenants, and borrowing base data to identify any potential risks or issues.
* Contribute to the onboarding and renewal process of facilities, including the review of legal documentation and facility letters.
* Prepare management information, reports, and analysis to support decision-making and client development.
* Provide excellent customer service, maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Requirements;
* Previous experience within commercial finance, ABL, or invoice finance (or strong exposure within corporate or business banking).
* A good understanding of financial statements, cashflow, and credit risk.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
* A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within ABL and commercial lending.
