The Role
* Lead the delivery of high-quality accounting services, anticipating and responding to clients’ current and future needs
* Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients’ goals, identifying strategic issues, and providing innovative solutions
* Proactively manage an allocated portfolio, ensuring all client and statutory deadlines are met
* Drive team performance against agreed targets, including the 90-day plan and wider strategic goals
* Maximise profitability by achieving and exceeding business performance metrics
* Promote continuous improvement in working practices to enhance efficiency and client experience
* Oversee resource planning to ensure optimal utilisation both short- and medium-term
* Collaborate with fellow Directors to deliver the firm’s strategic objectives
* Identify and generate additional revenue opportunities from the existing client base, utilising specialist teams where appropriate
* Actively represent the firm in marketing and business development activities to raise brand awareness
* Convert new business opportunities in line with the firm’s service proposition
* Seek out opportunities to expand or enhance the firm’s service offerings
About You
* ACA/ACCA qualified with substantial post-qualification experience in practice
* Proven leadership experience at senior management level within accountancy practice
* Strong track record in managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality service
* Commercially astute with a history of meeting and exceeding business performance targets
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues alike
* Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action and measurable results
* Skilled in change management and driving continuous improvement initiatives
