Role : Steel Fabricator
Starting salary between £19.04 and £20.01 per hour
Purpose of Role-Steel Fabricator¦ To assemble and tack together components of products as specified by layout, drawings, diagrams, work orders, weld procedures or oral instructions, using electric arc-welding equipment.
Key Objectives of the Role-Steel Fabricator ¦
* Assembly of various steel components with a focus on EN1090 EXC 2 + 3 requirements and associated dimension control and weld set-up parameters to enable a successful follow-on Welding Activity.
* Drilling and tapping holes in steel structures, and Oxy-Acetylene cutting.
* Familiarity with large and medium scale carbon steel fabrications.
* Experience with Stainless Steel would be desirable.
* Previous experience in steel fabrication, ideally on Infrastructure Projects, Oil & Gas and Offshore-Wind sector activity.
* Full time position with opportunity to develop the role to Cell-Leader position.
Applicants will be required to complete a relevant fabrication activity at interview, such as [1] notch a beam and add plates, [2] cut a hatch into a piece of tube, [3] marking out on tube and plate.

Salary ¦NAECI Agreement Rates
* £19.04 - £20.01 per hour
* £26.66 - £28.01 Overtime A
* £34.27 - £36.02 Overtime B
* Fabricator Proficiency Pay scheme offering the ability increase hourly rate by up to £1.50 per hour.
Schedule ¦
* 8 hour shift
* Flat hours Monday Thursday 8.00am 4.30 pm, Friday 8.00am 2.30pm 38 hour week
* Overtime, currently 10 hours PW and increasing
