Area Manager – Water and Environment

Responsibilities
As Area Manager, you will be a key member of the Water and Environment team and will be responsible for:
* Managing client engagements and business development activities
* Leading project delivery and budget/finance control
* Recruiting and interview technical talent
* Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
Qualifications
* UK experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client
* Desire to be actively involved in business development of clients
* Strong time management, people management and organisational skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with multiple stakeholders
* Professional approach amongst peers and colleagues
* Ambition to develop management and business development skills
* Eligibility to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence
* Involvement in the full project lifecycle, including budget/finance control
* Previous experience of client engagement and development of business relationships
* Commercial awareness, understanding of costs, finance and market trends
* A strong professional network within the industry
* Experience in attending networking events and industry related conferences
* Experience within the Water and Environment sector in either a UK consultancy, local authority or similar
* HNC, HND, BEng, BSc, MEng, MSc or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
* I.Eng, C.Eng, or APM PFQ/ PMQ, ChPP
