What we are looking for: We are looking for a professional Coldstore Relief Team Leader to join our growing Production team. As a Coldstore Relief Team Leader you will be responsible for leading up daily operations of a coldstore team within the Production Area Key responsibilities as a Coldstore Relief Team Leader will be: - Efficiencies: Through the S.I.C process, record and escalate any issues to the Team Manager and carry out actions that have been agreed in order to correct any losses. - Giveaways: Product giveaways should be reviewed and any issues affecting giveaways escalated to the Team Manager. - Waste: Support the investigation/actioning of any non-conforming processes/ products in order to reduce waste and ensure that Batch Yield is on target. - Labour costs: Be aware of the labour cost of the designated production line/ team and support the Team Manager in efforts to improve this labour cost. - Customer Complaints: Deviations from quality should be actioned / escalated in order to minimise the risk of customer complaints. - Carry out CCP's, and other Technical checks as required, for the smooth and efficient running of the line. Ensure any issues regarding CCP's are highlighted immediately to the Team Manager and the QA team. - Escalation of any issue's product quality to the Team Manager. - Ensure that full traceability is achieved for every batch of product through accurate recording of paperwork. - Escalation of issues at the DRM 1 meeting or other forums that require support in order to address. - Actively involved in all aspects of continuous improvement. - Assist the Team Manager in progressing the teams' development needs, through cross training, and continuous assessment of training needs. - Communicate with the Training Team to advise of any training requirements. - Ensure effective lines of communications are in place between the Production Line / Team under the Line Leader's supervision, and the Team Manager. - Liaise with the Team Manager on personnel issues and staffing requirements. - Monitoring of staff performance and escalation of any poor/ under performance. - Conducting pre start up checks - daily.
