EF Manchester International Language Campus is looking for a Homestay Coordinator to join our team in placing international students with welcoming host families, delivering a safe, supportive, and culturally enriching experience.

Responsibilities
* Working with our homestay providers to find suitable accommodation for our language students while they study with us in the UK
* Processing & maintaining homestay accommodation records using EF’s own accommodation database
* Preparing verbal and written information (mainly via phone call/text/email) for prospective and current providers
* Providing pre-departure accommodation information to providers about arriving students
* Attending local events or organizing info sessions at community centers to present the benefits of hosting international students
* Visiting potential host homes, checking living standards, assessing cultural compatibility, and completing safety evaluations
* Responding quickly to host-student mismatch situations and helping arrange emergency placements when needed
* Reporting to Homestay Manager to ensure sufficient homestay beds during peak season and accurate student details each week
* Supporting students and providers with move and transfer requests as necessary
* Striving to improve the quality of our homestay provision
Requirements
* Given the on-call nature of the position, a flexible, hands-on approach to hours & work is essential
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRMs (desirable)
* Highly motivated, energetic, positive attitude
* Customer service oriented, friendly & approachable manner
* Able to remain calm under pressure & diffuse difficult situations
* Sensitive to the needs of international students living away from home
* Excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and external clients
* Attention to detail, organized & thorough
* All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
* Legally able to work in the UK at the start of employment
