To be considered for this role, applicants must have prior experience as a lecturer, teacher, tutor, trainer, or instructor in Electrical installations. While this is primarily a remote position, candidates are also welcome to work on-site at one of the provider's locations in the heart of Birmingham.

A national training provider is offering a fully remote opportunity to deliver Electrical Installation courses to students in the Further Education sector.
How You Will Be Required to Work Remotely
* Theory-Based Teaching: This training provider delivers the theory components of Electrical Installation including electrical science, regulations, health and safety, and wiring diagrams remotely using platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Moodle.
* Apprenticeship Support: You will support apprentices based on-site with their employers by delivering remote sessions. Tutors provide guidance, regular check-ins, and online support to help learners progress through their qualifications.
* Blended Learning Approach: While the role is primarily remote, the training provider follows a blended model. You may be required to attend in-person sessions once every fortnight for practical assessments or hands-on demonstrations. All travel expenses for these visits will be fully covered.
What’s on Offer
* £26 - £50 per hour
* 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
* Term-time only (195 working days per year)
* One-year rolling contract, with potential to become permanent
* Travel covered for occasional site visits (once every two weeks)

What You’ll Need to Apply
* Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Installation or Maintenance (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
* 3+ years experience in a teaching, training, or instructional role
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Essential Criteria to Apply
* Must be available to start in September, with a maximum notice period of one week. Offers will be made in the final week of August, so a longer notice period may prevent timely start.
* Must currently reside in the UK
* Must be a UK citizen; this role does not offer sponsorship
* Comfortable with online delivery and engaging with learners remotely
