The Clinical Biochemistry Department provides comprehensive core, immunoassay, point-of-care, specialist protein, metabolic and toxicology services to the North-East of Scotland, including specialist services to the Orkney and Shetland Islands involving a total catchment population of over 600,000. The Department is accredited by the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS ISO 15189:2022).
The appointee is required to have experience at a promoted level in a Clinical Biochemistry Department, be a team player, an enthusiastic trainer, to meet the person specification and fulfil the duties described in the job description.
