Working for our Laser Tools brand, we are looking to recruit an Area Account Manager to join our expanding field sales team. After first‑rate in‑house training, a typical day will see you visiting Laser Tools customers from motor factors and wholesalers within your region to promote our brands and secure sales, while following up leads with potential new customers and providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will come from a tool, automotive or sales background, but we highly value enthusiasm, drive and positivity and would therefore welcome applicants from other sectors with transferable skills.
Role
* Responsible for achieving and reporting on set targets within your designated region, selling the complete range of brands proactively and reactively.
* Work closely with prospective and existing customers, and by understanding their needs, develop, support and grow business.
* Advise customers on promotions and introductions of new products.
* Submit customer orders and provide daily call sheets detailing work carried out and actions required, and report on market conditions and competitor data when relevant.
Location
North of England and Scotland. We welcome applications from candidates living in this area.
Candidate
* Experienced sales professional with strong knowledge of the automotive aftermarket sector and experience selling into buying groups and independent motor factors.
* Demonstrated ability to build excellent working relationships with both external and internal customers.
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels.
* Self‑motivated and able to work on own initiative.
* Excellent time‑management and planning skills.
* Customer‑focused but commercially aware of business needs.
Salary and Benefits
The on‑target earnings for this role are £35,000.00. We are happy to discuss salary expectations during the interview stage, allowing us to tailor the offer based on your skills and experience.
