Job Description
WSP is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Project Manager to join the Roads team based in London & South East.
Responsibilities
* Managing the delivery of highways projects for public and private sector clients across the UK, through planning, design and construction stages.
* Ensuring compliance with quality management systems, and driving efficiencies throughout project execution.
* Providing guidance and support to a team of experienced and developing technical staff, and contributing to the development of the team’s internal knowledge base.
* Planning, executing, monitoring and controlling projects with limited supervision, including effective project change management.
* Undertaking contract management and administration under a range of framework and standalone contracts.
* Working with clients ranging from local authorities to national infrastructure agencies and private developers.
* Collaborating with clients, key stakeholders and internal teams to deliver schemes/projects.
Qualifications
* Professional qualification in project management and/or an engineering discipline.
* Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM).
* NEC accreditation and experience leading and administering NEC Contracts.
* Membership of professional institutions such as APM, PMI, MRICS, or MICE.
* Background in highway/linear infrastructure projects (beneficial).
* Competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Experience with CDM regulations and Designers Duties compliance.
