Job Summary: To manage a regional team of Architectural Advisors responsible for the development and conversion of major sales prospects and achievement of budgeted sales revenue within corporate policies and accepted professional standards, in order to optimise customer account revenue and contribution to business objectives. Reports directly to Sales & Marketing Director. The Management of the London office and the Southern Region Architectural Advisers. Responsible for achieving the sales revenue plan for the region £ through actively managing the company’s project pipeline and key accounts Manage customer discount in line with agreed limits. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Developing a sales revenue/margin budget - Sales targets/margins and company objectives are achieved Develop, motivate, coach and support strong regional Sales team - Region is working to plan Submit an accurate monthly forecast of order intake - Effective business planning of resource and capacity to meet sales volume Maintain constant review of order intake and implement recovery plans in the event of variances to budget - Ensure sales revenue targets are achieved Effectively managing the level of discounts within target levels - Ensure sales margin is maintained Query resolution of invoices in dispute - Reduction of aged debt to meet business objectives Develop and manage the company’s main contractor framework agreements and relationships - Increase project conversion and grow revenue Identify and develop new customers, market opportunities to cultivate revenue, to achieve business plan and future growth Review Project Pipeline for Region on a monthly basis, maximizing conversion of project specification activity to confirmed sales Ensure communication channels are effective for specifications generated in London for projects outside of the region - Achievement of National objectives in line with company plan Grow and develop new customer accounts Strengthen Kawneer’s relationships with Main Contractors Maintain motivation and develop team Increase Kawneer specifications and conversion to order Provide accurate monthly sales forecast Qualifications Essential Knowledge & Skills Demonstrates depth/breadth of knowledge in construction industry Uses new and innovative selling techniques Expertise in managing a successful sales team Understanding of finance principles i.e. p&l account, balance sheet. Understanding of the supply chain in construction Understanding of cashflow in construction Influencing & negotiating skills IT literate Proven Track Record
