Teacher of Maths
Salary: £34,492 - £41,140 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Maths to join a high-performing team, supporting learners to develop their numeracy skills and achieve their GCSE Maths qualifications.

Role Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths, primarily to construction and vocational learners.
* Plan and assess learning in line with college policies, ensuring all students are supported to achieve their goals.
* Track and monitor student progress through effective feedback and assessment.
* Collaborate with vocational teams to embed numeracy within practical learning.
* Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring teaching is relevant and inspiring.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement.
Essential Requirements
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.
* Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
* Experience teaching GCSE Maths in FE or secondary education.
* Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and support learners, particularly those in vocational programmes.
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
