Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Longfield, United Kingdom at the Iconic Brands Hatch Race Circuit. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality and presentation while contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
* Lead and supervise a section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient workflow
* Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and customer orders
* Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and development
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
* Manage inventory levels and assist in placing orders for supplies and ingredients
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
* Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing waste
* Ensure timely and efficient food preparation during service hours
* Participate in regular team meetings to discuss menu improvements and operational efficiencies
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
Qualifications
* Previous culinary experience, including prior work as a Chef de Partie
* Demonstrated proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and presentation skills
* Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
* Proven commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation
* Responsible, detail-oriented, and highly organized
