Project Manager - Store Infrastructure Deployment
Join the Institute of Communication as a Project Manager overseeing the rollout of server infrastructure across our UK retail estate. This role coordinates the deployment of in‑store technology and ensures smooth delivery across multiple sites.
Location: Hybrid – one day per week on‑site in Fareham.
Start: ASAP.
Contract: Initial 6‑month contract.
Rate: Up to £600 per day (Inside IR35) depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end‑to‑end rollout of server infrastructure across retail locations.
* Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and site managers to ensure on‑time delivery.
* Oversee project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
* Identify and mitigate risks throughout deployment phases.
* Ensure all installations meet company standards and operational readiness criteria.
Requirements
* Proven experience in store infrastructure or technology deployment projects (e.g., servers, networks, POS, or hardware upgrades).
* Strong technical delivery management background.
* Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.
* Experience within retail or multi‑site environments highly desirable.
* Ability to work across cross‑functional teams and manage multiple concurrent deployments.
