Position: SEN Teacher – Complex Needs (PMLD)

Start Date: Immediately
Contract: Full-Time | Ongoing | Monday – Friday
Salary: £150 – £240 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

This is an incredible opportunity for a passionate SEN Teacher to work with children who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex communication needs. You’ll play a vital role in providing tailored, meaningful learning experiences that encourage independence, confidence, and joy in every pupil.
What the Role Involves
* Designing and delivering creative, multi-sensory lessons adapted to individual learning styles.
* Building nurturing relationships and promoting communication through sensory engagement and assistive technology.
* Working collaboratively with therapists, teaching assistants, and families to deliver a holistic approach to learning.
* Encouraging self-expression, curiosity, and achievement in a safe and inclusive environment.
* Monitoring progress, celebrating small steps, and ensuring every student feels seen and valued.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Previous experience supporting pupils with PMLD, ASC, or complex learning needs.
* Strong understanding of sensory and differentiated teaching approaches.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive mindset.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
