You will promote social inclusion and provide opportunities for people with disabilities in various community settings. Support service users by enhancing their social and independent living skills in a person-centred manner that aligns with social inclusion principles.

You must have or be willing to achieve, within the first registration period, the Social Services and Healthcare SCQF level 6 (or equivalent) to meet Scottish Social Services Council registration requirements.

Flexibility is required to accommodate the needs of service users, with work hours including days, evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and wakened nights, including public holidays, Christmas, and New Year.
The successful candidate will work both as part of a team and independently, demonstrating good communication, organizational, workload management, literacy, and IT skills.
Before appointment, you will need to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and register with the SSSC within three months of starting.
