Formulation Scientist 1
Location: Swindon
Job summary: 12 month FTC
We are currently recruiting for a motivated scientist to join the Formulation team within Product Development on a 12 month FTC. This role will support the development of new and improved products, contributing to enhanced patient outcomes.
The Role:
* Supporting formulation activities within Product Development
* Developing robust formulations using Quality by Design (QbD) principles and a patient-focused approach
* Gaining hands‑on experience with Zydis® within a development environment
* Collaborating with cross‑functional teams on project delivery
* Supporting customer‑facing activities and translating requirements into practical solutions
The Candidate:
* Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry) or equivalent experience
* Experience or strong interest in pharmaceutical formulation and/or process development
* Awareness of QbD principles and a patient‑first mindset
* Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross‑functional teams
* Confident supporting customer interactions and project requirements
* Proactive, flexible, and solution‑oriented approach
* Motivated to develop knowledge of Zydis® and broaden impact within Catalent
