Data Analyst – Nature Recovery & Water Resources

Allen & York are partnering with Water Resources East (WRE) to recruit a Data Analyst passionate about using data to address environmental and water resource challenges.
You will contribute to WRE’s Regional Water Resources Plan and catchment-scale Environmental Destination investigations, focusing on nature recovery and water resilience in Eastern England.
Working with WRE’s Technical Director and team, your responsibilities will include collecting, managing, and visualising environmental data, developing GIS and dashboard tools, and liaising with stakeholders like the Environment Agency and Rivers Trust.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing and improving environmental/water resource datasets and ensuring data quality.
* Developing dashboards, GIS tools, and visualisations using Power BI, ESRI ArcGIS.
* Supporting data sharing platforms such as SharePoint and ensuring legal compliance on data licensing.
* Providing insights from models and screening tools to inform cross-sector planning.
* Enhancing data accessibility and clarity for diverse users and stakeholders.
About you:
You should have experience managing complex datasets, working with data visualisation and GIS software, and be comfortable presenting data to both technical and non-technical audiences. Skills in Power BI, SharePoint, and ESRI ArcGIS are essential.
