Do you have a proven track record of establishing and managing a Project Management Office (PMO) that not only improves execution but also delivers measurable business benefits? Are you a strategic thinker with the leadership and communication skills to collaborate with senior stakeholders, prioritise projects effectively, and optimise value delivery across a diverse portfolio? If yes, our Head of Programme Management Office position might be the right next move for you.

What’s it all about?

You will be a collaborative leader to set up and run a Group wide Project Management Office (PMO). The role is pivotal in making sure our projects match our company strategy by improving how we use resources and our processes to deliver real business benefits.

You will take ownership of the Group Operating Plan, including: the development and maintenance of a project portfolio working alongside board members and senior leadership team. You will run a strategic prioritisation process which will ensure decision making to identify priorities and track the delivery of agreed benefits, to assist making recommendations and identify the value optimisation.

In addition, you will establish a PMO to align projects and improve execution by ensuring projects are realistic and resourced effectively, monitored to spot and prevent problems arising, sharing best practice and leading the assessments of post-implimentation reviews to capture learnings and foster continuous improvements.

Who will this appeal to?

You will be an experienced strategic thinker, who is able to understand and translate organisational strategy. You will be an experienced project or programme manager working at a senior level with a proven ability to establish and deliver value through PMO.

You will be articulate, clear and concise in communicating with colleagues, demonstrating strong leadership and problem solving skills.
