What You’ll Do:
* Lead and manage bids and tender submissions for the Transport business, reporting to the Business Development Director.
* Manage and guide a Bid Team based in Warwick and London, planning resources effectively.
* Ensure efficient utilization of resources to maximize business opportunities.
* Oversee the end-to-end management and production of high-quality, successful bids following Telent’s procedures.
* Improve bid quality through best practice approaches.
* Monitor bid costs and seek continual improvement in return on bid investment.
* Develop relationships with existing and potential customers through meetings and presentations.
* Manage Bid team performance, KPIs, and SLAs.
* Lead bid strategies, from Go/No-Go decisions to bid submission and post-submission support.
* Plan workload, forecast bids, track costs, and report on win/loss outcomes.
* Conduct bid reviews and maintain the Bid library.

* Proven success in leading bids within the Public Sector, including Traffic, Rail, Defence, and Emergency Services markets.
