Morgan Hunt as delighted to working with this fantastic client, a leading player in the UK Architectural market, operating across over 10 different market sectors, across the US and Middle East.
We are currently working with them due to a growing portfolio of work most notably within their Defence and Education Sectors. They are seeking a professional who will work with other members of their team to develop design solutions appropriate to the context, budget and aesthetic requirements of the architectural projects.
The Role:
* Offers excellent career progression and we are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, driven and willing to contribute to the long term success and development of the architectural team.
* Responsible for providing guidance on design and technical issues.
* Develop designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements.
* Coordinates design intent with other disciplines.
* Integrates engineering requirements, site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.
* Prepares design reports, drawings and models following office standards.
* Performs site visitations to determine compliance with construction documents; identifies any deviations and liaises with owner and contactor to resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Reviews project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant jurisdictional codes and corporate quality controls.
Qualifications/Experience:
* ARB registered Architect.
* Experience in the Defence or Education sector is key.
* Experience in designing and running your own jobs.
* A strong team player willing to participate in business growth by maximising opportunities and being willing and able to support junior members.
* Knowledge of Scottish and English Building regulations would be beneficial.
