What skills and experience we're looking for
Required as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be based in a Year Office and work in close partnership with one of our teaching Year Leaders to support and develop the structures and protocols that aid the pastoral and academic progress of our students. Our Pastoral Support Officers serve as the first line of communication for our families. This role involves working with the same cohort of students throughout their 5-year journey, strengthening key relationships.
Pastoral Support Officers play a full role in planning, administering, and evaluating key year group events such as parents' evenings, residentials, and reward trips, along with other year team activities.
We seek applicants with a background in administration and office work. Experience within a school is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. Are you highly efficient, well-organized, and attentive to detail? Are you eager to develop a career in education? If so, we want to hear from you.
The position is term-time only plus 5 days, permanent after a 6-month probationary period.
School application forms and further details can be downloaded from our website. Support staff application forms should be returned to Mrs. Stubbs by email.
Closing date: 9am Wednesday 20 August 2025
