We are looking for a qualified Watersports instructors to work at Rutland Water where you will be providing tuition and general assistance to our visitors. Our visitors can hire sailing boats, canoes, kayaks or even take part in raft building exercise and learn how to sail, windsurf and drive a powerboat. How exciting!
As a Watersports instructor, you will need to deliver excellent tuition and ensure all our visitors are enjoying their time at the park whilst remaining safe.
Open from 8am to 7pm throughout the Spring/Summer, we are offering a flexible contract with hours that work around your current commitments, but we will need you to be able to work weekends and during school holiday periods.

What does it take to be a Watersports Instructor?
7. Valid BC level 1 or 2 coaching and/or an RYA instructor qualification in Sailing, Windsurfing or Power Boating along with an appropriate valid First Aid qualification certificate
8. Excellent customer service skills especially in a retail or an outdoor environment
9. Excellent communication and social skills
10. Ability to be flexible and willingness to learn
11. Availability to work weekends
12. Ability to work year round but mainly throughout the summer between April – September
13. Available for training days during the months of April and May
14. Show enthusiasm about our parks and ability to share enthusiasm with customers
