Overview
We are looking for a Health and Safety professional to join our busy team at Hull City Council. This position involves working with a wide variety of commercial businesses to provide excellent regulatory and advisory services within the City. You will be closely involved with accident investigations, complaints from the public and businesses, Health and Safety inspections, and interventions based on national and local priorities. The city also has a number of registerable business activities and hosts a large number of events, which may involve both educational and enforcement activities. You will work with a dedicated team of officers who strive to protect the community of Hull and promote a high level of compliance within our businesses.
Responsibilities
* Provide regulatory and advisory services to businesses based within the City.
* Be closely involved with accident investigations, complaints from the public and businesses, Health and Safety inspections, and interventions based on national and local priorities.
* Engage with registerable business activities and events, including educational and enforcement activities.
* Collaborate with a dedicated team of officers to protect the Hull community and promote compliance within businesses.
