Job Title: Lead Clinician - Practitioner Psychologist

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30-4.30pm Mon-Fri

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

Essential: Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle required


About the role

We are seeking a Lead Clinician - Practitioner Psychologist to manage our Clinical Team at Robins Way School in Wiltshire. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Clinical Locality Lead. Responsibilities include clinically leading the team, managing a therapy caseload, delivering assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs related to autism, neurodivergence, trauma, and SEMH. The role also involves line management of the onsite clinical team and leading service development in collaboration with SLT and the Clinical Locality Lead.

The postholder will maintain a therapy caseload supported by our clinical network, contribute to staff training, and supervise team members. This challenging and rewarding role requires resilience, enthusiasm, a therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, workload management, and supervision capabilities. The position offers an opportunity to influence the clinical service development and deliver wellbeing strategies aligned with EHCP requirements.

Qualifications and experience

* Registered Practitioner Psychologist with HCPC
* Current professional registration and membership (e.g., BPS)
* Experience working with autistic individuals and complex needs
* Strong report writing skills
* Experience supervising therapy teams
* Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service
* Experience in multi-professional team work (preferred)
* Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
