Job Description
Graham Young Pharmacy in Peterborough is looking for a Pharmacy Counter Assistant/Dispenser to join our friendly and professional team on a 1-year fixed-term contract.
This position is offered as a fixed-term role for 12 months, with the possibility of extension subject to service needs and performance.
We are a busy, modern, clinically focused community pharmacy delivering a wide range of NHS and private services. This role is suitable for someone with previous retail or pharmacy experience, or someone looking to start a career in pharmacy. Full training will be provided.

What You Will Be Doing
* Welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service
* Assisting with over-the-counter medication sales and healthcare advice (under supervision)
* Supporting the dispensing process
* Handling prescription collections
* Maintaining stock levels and merchandising the shop floor
* Promoting pharmacy services such as flu vaccinations, travel services and minor illness support
* Ensuring the pharmacy remains clean, organised and professional

What We Are Looking For
* Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
* Strong communication skills
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Positive attitude and team player
* Willingness to undertake training and complete Pharmacy NVQ qualifications
