Overview
Trainee Nurse Practitioner (Annex 21) – Bone Marrow Transplant Service B7. 1 x permanent post, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Based within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The post may be a Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner or, if the candidate holds the necessary advanced practice qualifications, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
The post holder will work closely alongside co-ordinators, trials, medical and nursing teams as part of the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapies team.
Responsibilities
* Support the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapies team as a Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner, with potential progression to Advanced Nurse Practitioner for qualified candidates.
* Work Monday – Friday with core hours as specified.
* Collaborate with co-ordinators, trials, medical and nursing teams.
Qualifications
* Clinical Haematology nursing experience required.
* Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical Prescribing qualifications are desirable.
* If the successful candidate does not hold these qualifications, the post will support the process of obtaining them.
