We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring high standards of food safety, and creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
* Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in all meals served.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and kitchen management.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen setting.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Creative flair for developing new dishes and enhancing the dining experience for guests.
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and management.
