Main Duties and Responsibilities
15. In the role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the stores and procurement teams are advised on the placement of orders and the right products are being purchased.
16. You will also be responsible for communicating with the Shift Manager and advising on any issues/ concerns with Production or delivery.
17. If you are a dedicated individual who has a passion for cooking, is highly organised and has excellent attention to detail this may be the role for you. We are currently offering candidates with the opportunity of an immediate start.
18. General washing, sorting, assembling, packing and positioning of the aircraft equipment
19. Process and strip trolleys and deliver to relevant department
20. Offloading and sorting equipment/food and ensuring it is delivered to the correct processing area
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
21. Educated to GSE or ‘O’ levels;
22. Basic Food hygiene training/certification is desirable
23. A recognised City & Guilds qualification or NVQ Level 2 for a Chef is desirable
Work Experience:
24. Significant experience of volume cooking in a hotel/restaurant/airline environment while working to tight deadlines.
Skills & Knowledge:
25. Good verbal and written communication skills in English
26. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
27. Ability to work as part of a team.
28. Ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment using own initiative
29. Basic computer skills
