Your new company One of the UK's leading infrastructure contractors, working across a number of sectors including; transport, highways, water, energy and telecommunications Your new role Scheme Delivery Manager required to work on highways maintenance and improvement contract to help deliver high‑quality services for local residents, businesses, and road users.In this role, you'll be central to day‑to‑day delivery, overseeing sub‑contractors and operational teams across multiple workstreams. You'll ensure that construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, budget, and environmental expectations. Key Accountabilities: Manage and maintain scheme programmes to ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with required HSEQ standards. Organise labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor resources effectively. Liaise with stakeholders such as network managers, local authorities, community groups, and designers to support scheme delivery. Ensure Construction Phase Plans, method statements, and safe systems of work are in place before work begins, and that safety standards are upheld throughout. Confirm that all site personnel-both in‑house and subcontracted-are competent and appropriately trained.
