The role: We are currently recruiting for a client who resides in the lovely town of Faversham. Our client is male, aged between 30-32 and has a diagnosis of Muscular Dystrophy. Experience of supporting clients with cough assist, PEG feed, oral suctioning and moving and handling would be ideal. Our client is a busy young man who enjoys plenty of different activities to keep him engaged at night as he is nocturnal, therefore applicants should be prepared to have a busy and varied night shift and participate in activities such as video gaming, films, a shared interest in gaming consoles and general activities that he enjoys whilst providing top personal centred care. SHCLBA Responsibilities To provide complex care interventions such as PEG feeding and Cough Assist. To confidently and clearly communicate with the client and using aids where necessary. To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided. To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures. Requirements Must have the right to work in the UK. Ability to work a minimum of 24 hours per week. Valid UK driving License and access to a vehicle for work. Minimum of 6 months UK care experience.
