Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, inspection, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems and portable fire extinguishers across commercial & industrial properties.
Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with relevant British Standards.
* Install and commission fire alarm systems.
* Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers.
* Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
* Complete service reports and certification accurately.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with industry regulations.
* Provide professional advice and support to customers.
* Participate in an on-call rota when required.
Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer Requirements:
* Previous experience working with fire alarm systems and fire extinguishers.
* Good knowledge of BS 5839 and BS 5306 standards.
* FIA qualifications or equivalent are desirable.
* Ability to fault-find and work independently.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Familiarity with a range of manufacturers including Gent, Advanced, C-TEC, Morley, and Kentec.
