Team Leader
We are looking for a Team Leader to act as a peer and positive role model, overseeing the work of the lifeguard team to ensure high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
The role includes reviewing systems of work and serving as the main link between the Duty Manager and lifeguard staff. You will work closely with Academy trainers to regularly review lifeguard processes, ensuring training is efficient, effective, and consistently delivered.
The Team Leader will also provide relief cover for the Duty Manager, taking full responsibility for the facility, customers, financial procedures, and staff during those periods.
Responsibilities
* Act as a peer and positive role model for the lifeguard team
* Review systems of work and ensure high safety and customer satisfaction standards
* Serve as the main link between the Duty Manager and lifeguard staff
* Collaborate with Academy trainers to review lifeguard processes regularly
* Provide relief cover for the Duty Manager and take full responsibility for the facility, customers, financial procedures, and staff during those periods
Qualifications
* Current NPLQ, FAW, and Health & Safety qualifications
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to motivate and support colleagues
* Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification desirable
* Willingness to learn, develop, and embrace new ideas
