The Early Help Youth & Community Service in Redcar & Cleveland is looking for dedicated, approachable, and inspiring individuals to join our Streetz Detached Youth Work Team.

About the Role
We are recruiting Detached Youth Workers to work 3 hours per week) either a Tuesday or a Friday night, with occasional additional evenings and weekends depending on service needs.
Salary: Grade D – £14.13 per hour Contract: Permanent
What You’ll Be Doing
* You’ll be out in the community, building positive relationships with young people in identified hotspots across the borough. Through street-based youth work, you’ll:
* Engage young people in meaningful conversations and activities.
* Support them to navigate challenges such as peer pressure, anti-social behaviour, and substance misuse.
* Design and deliver creative, engaging, and dynamic sessions tailored to their needs.
* Encourage confidence, resilience, and positive decision-making.

* Creative thinkers who can develop fun, engaging, and impactful activities
